Professor Thomas Bartel, MD, is the section head of invasive cardiology in Heart and Vascular Institue at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. His particular clinical interest is focused on Catheter interventions in structural heart disease, Echocardiographic guidance of new percutaneous procedures, general cardiac imaging and coronary heart disease specially the acute coronary syndrome.

He studied medicine and completed the experimental work at Humboldt University Berlin where he also received his doctorate degree. He is a member of the Austrian Cardiac Society, the American Heart Association, the European Society of Cardiology and etc.. Dr. Bartel has invited to be the proctor or lecturer for Biosense Webster: intracardiac echocardiography since 2006 and for Edwards Lifesecience Inc.: TAVR preocedures in Japan, USA, Europe since 2011.
