This article (1) titled “MicroRNA-221 promotes proliferation and migration of pulmonary arterial smooth muscle cells (PASMCs) by targeting tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinases-3 (TIMP3)” (doi: 10.21037/cdt-20-328), unfortunately contained two incorrect representative images of migration of PASMCs (Figure 4A: miR-221 inhibitor + NC siRNA group; and Figure 4B: miR-221 mimic + TIMP3 siRNA group). The authors apologize that at the time of figure assembly, they chose representative images by mistake. All original data were checked, and the results and conclusion of this article remain correct. Corrected Figure 4 is presented below.
The authors apologize for the mistake.
